Leucadendron salignum x laureolum Amy is grown for its amazing, Protea like flowers. The flowers in autumn and winter have red bracts which are followed by cream-coloured bracts in spring. It has a tidy, erect growth habit, carries mid-green foliage, and typically reaches 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Leucadendron Amy is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around barbecue or pool areas, used to complement other plant forms, maintained in a container, or planted to provide winter colour.
