Leonotis kimba Alba, commonly known as the White Lions Tail, features fluffy, white flowers during summer and autumn. The white whorls of flowers are spread evenly up the stem and are great for attracting bees, birds, and butterflies. It grows as a small evergreen shrub with mid-green leaves to about 1 m tall the same wide. Best performance is achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site and protected from frosts. Leonotis kimba Alba is commonly included in mixed plantings, planted for winter interest, grown in a container, used as a houseplant, or simply grown for its unusualness. The flowers are great for using as a cut flower.
