Lavandula The Prince

Lavandula The Prince grows as a compact shrub and carries masses of stunning, purple flower spikes from spring through autumn. The foliage is a fresh green colour and complements the flowers wonderfully. Both the flowers and foliage produce a lovely aroma when cut. This evergreen typically grows to 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry conditions but does require protection from heavy frosts when young. Lavandula The Prince is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a low hedge, or maintained in a container.
