Lavender 'Sensation Pink'

How to grow Lavender 'Sensation Pink' in NZ

Lavender 'Sensation Pink' grows best in full sun and free draining soil to support strong flowering and healthy, compact growth. Choose a warm, sunny position with at least six hours of daily light. Avoid heavy or waterlogged soils, as lavender prefers dry, open ground. Water consistently while young, then reduce watering once established. It performs reliably in both coastal and inland regions across New Zealand.

Lavender 'Sensation Pink' care tips

Caring for Lavender 'Sensation Pink' is simple and rewarding. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain a neat rounded shape and encourage fresh new growth. Avoid cutting into older woody stems, as lavender reshoots best from younger wood. Water sparingly once mature and avoid heavy fertiliser. A light application of slow release fertiliser in spring helps support vibrant seasonal blooming.
