Lavandula Ruffles Vanillaberry

Lavandula Ruffles Vanillaberry is a variety of Lavender that grows as a compact shrub and carries masses of showy, cream-coloured flower spikes with an apricot undertone from spring through until autumn. The foliage is fresh-green and complements the flowers nicely. Both the flowers and foliage produce a lovely aroma when cut. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 60 cm tall and 80 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry conditions but does require protection from heavy frost. Lavandula Ruffles Vanillaberry is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or maintained in a container. For hedging space plants 25-30 cm apart. A mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank will give a dramatic display.
