“Ruffles Vanillaberry” is a variety of Lavender that grows as a compact shrub and carries masses of showy, cream-coloured flower spikes with an apricot undertone from spring through until autumn. The foliage is fresh-green and complements the flowers nicely. Both the flowers and foliage produce a lovely aroma when cut. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 60 cm tall and 80 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry conditions but does require protection from heavy frost. This Lavender is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or maintained in a container. For hedging space plants 25-30 cm apart. A mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank will give a dramatic display.
