Lavender 'Pure Platinum'

How to grow Lavender 'Pure Platinum' in NZ

Lavender 'Pure Platinum' thrives in full sun and free draining soil to ensure strong flowering and healthy growth. Choose a warm, open location that receives at least six hours of natural light each day. Avoid wet or heavy soils, as lavender prefers dry, airy ground. Water young plants regularly to establish, then reduce watering to occasional deep soakings. It performs reliably in both coastal and inland regions throughout New Zealand.

Lavender 'Pure Platinum' care tips

Caring for Lavender 'Pure Platinum' is simple and rewarding. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy form and encourage fresh shoots. Avoid cutting into tough older wood, as lavender reshoots best from younger stems. Once established, water sparingly and avoid heavy fertilising. A light application of slow release fertiliser in spring supports consistent flowering.
