Lavender Love Heart is a variety of English Lavender that grows as a compact shrub and carries masses of showy, two-tone pink flower spikes from spring through autumn. The foliage is mid-green and complements the flowers nicely as it grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide. Lavender Love Heart is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or maintained in a container. A mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank will give a dramatic display.

Love Heart Lavender

The Love Heart Lavender is a variety of English Lavender that grows as a compact shrub and carries masses of showy, two-tone pink flower spikes from spring through autumn. The foliage is mid-green and complements the flowers nicely. Both the flowers and foliage produce a lovely aroma when cut. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry conditions but does require protection from heavy frost. The Love Heart Lavender is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or maintained in a container. For hedging space plants 25-30 cm apart. A mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank will give a dramatic display.
