Whimsical Fairy Wings Lavender is a very showy French Lavender variety that grows as a compact shrub and carries masses of stunning, ice-pink flower spikes from spring through until autumn. The foliage is mid-green and complements the flowers nicely. Both the flowers and foliage produce an amazing aroma when cut and on warm days. This evergreen typically grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry conditions but does require protection from heavy frosts when young. Whimsical Fairy Wings Lavender is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a low hedge, or maintained in a container.
