Lavender 'Castilliano White'

How to grow Lavender 'Castilliano White' in NZ

Lavender 'Castilliano White' performs best in full sun and free draining soil to support strong flowering. Choose a warm position with at least six hours of direct sunlight daily. Avoid heavy or waterlogged soils, as lavender prefers open, drier ground. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce watering to occasional deep soakings. It thrives in coastal and inland areas throughout New Zealand.

Lavender 'Castilliano White' care tips

Caring for Lavender 'Castilliano White' is straightforward and rewarding. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy, rounded form and to encourage fresh growth. Do not cut into old wood, as lavender reshoots best from younger stems. Once established, water sparingly and avoid excessive fertiliser, which can soften growth. A gentle application of slow release fertiliser in spring supports strong seasonal blooming.
