Lavender 'Bandera Pink'

How to grow Lavender 'Bandera Pink' in NZ

Lavender 'Bandera Pink' thrives in full sun and well drained soil to encourage compact growth and strong blooming. Choose a warm, sunny position with at least six hours of direct sunlight each day. Avoid heavy or waterlogged soils, as lavender prefers dry, open ground. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce watering once mature. It performs well in both coastal and inland New Zealand gardens.

Lavender 'Bandera Pink' care tips

Caring for Lavender 'Bandera Pink' is simple and rewarding. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain a neat mound and stimulate fresh new shoots. Avoid cutting back into older woody stems. Once established, water sparingly and avoid heavy fertilising, which can soften growth. A small amount of slow release fertiliser in spring helps support reliable flowering.
