A mass planting on a bank of the like gives a truly dramatic display with this popular variety.

Arabian Night Lavender

The Arabian Night Lavender plant is an outstanding variety owing to its masses of beautiful, dark blue flower spikes from spring through autumn. The foliage is green-grey and complements the flowers nicely. Both the flowers and foliage produce a lovely aroma when cut. This evergreen shrub typically grows compactly with a rounded shape to 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry conditions but does require protection from heavy frosts when young. Arabian Night Lavender is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, trimmed into a low hedge, or grown in a container. For hedging space plants 30 cm apart. A mass planting on a bank of the like gives a truly dramatic display with this popular variety.
