This variety of Lavender features masses of blue-purple flowers from spring through autumn. The foliage is grey-blue and serves as a lovely backdrop to the flowers. Both the flowers and foliage produce a lovely aroma when cut or brushed against. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 60 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. It is hardy and will tolerate dry periods and frost once established but should be protected while establishing. This Lavender is often used in cottage gardens, added to a mixed planting, used in borders, trimmed into a low hedge, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown in a container. Space plants 40 cm apart for hedging.
