Little Caesar Ilex

The Little Caesar Ilex is a variety of Holly grown for its foliage and dense growth habit. This evergreen shrub carries small and glossy, green leaves held densely and tightly on rigid stems. New leaves are a rich yellow-green colour. It grows with a rounded shape to about 1.2 m tall and the same wide. Best growth is achieved when it is planted on a well-drained site in either full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of dry conditions, cold environments, moderate frost, and coastal environments. The relatively fine texture of the Little Caesar Ilex sets it apart from other landscape plants making it ideal for adding to a mixed planting, trimming it into a topiary ball, planting around outdoor living areas, or maintaining it in a container. This Ilex is a great plant for modern gardens.
