Blue Princess Holly

The Blue Princess Holly grows as a dense, evergreen shrub and features impressive, dark blue-green leaves with short spines. Small, white flowers in summer and followed by bright red berries in autumn which adds a lovely dimension to this plant. This Blue Holly grows with an upright and rounded shape to about 3 m tall and the same wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is positioned in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, cool climates, moderate frost, and coastal environments. The Blue Princess Holly is perfect for including in a mixed planting, trimming into a hedge, maintaining in a container, using as a backdrop for smaller plants, or planting anywhere interesting colour and texture is desired.
