Hydrangea ‘Trophy’ is a lacecap variety of Hydrangea that features large and showy flower heads with cream-white flowers. The flowers are borne as lacy clusters from summer through autumn and sit neatly above the dark green foliage. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form. It will grow to about 1 m tall and the same wide and is usually pruned right back in winter. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site, with a slightly acidic soil. It is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Hydrangea ‘Trophy’ is a great choice for adding to a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, using as a backdrop for smaller plants, growing as an informal hedge, or using to contrast with other leaf forms and flower colours.
