Hydrangea ‘Miss Belgium’ is a lovely variety Hydrangea that features large and showy flower heads. When the plant is grown on acidic soils the flowers will be purple-blue but on alkaline soils they will be a lovely shade of pink. These are borne from summer through autumn and are complemented by large and lush, dark green foliage. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained soil. It is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Hydrangea ‘Miss Belgium’ is a great variety for including in a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, growing as an informal hedge, using as a backdrop for smaller plants, or planting around outdoor living areas.
