Hydrangea ‘Hobella’ is an exquisite variety that features large flower heads made up of soft pink flowers that surround lighter pink florets. As the flowers age they develop a cherry red colouring. These are produced from summer through autumn and are complemented by large, green leaves that sit perfectly with the flowers. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best growth is achieved in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site with a slightly acidic soil. This Hydrangea is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Hydrangea ‘Hobella’ is a great variety for including in a mixed planting, planting around the base of larger trees, adding to cottage gardens, maintaining in a container, growing as an informal hedge, or planting around outdoor living areas.Bottom of Form
