Hydrangea ‘Flowermaster Blue’ features large and showy dark blue flower heads from summer through autumn. The flowers are complemented with lush, dark green foliage. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form to about 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site with a slightly acidic soil. It is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Hydrangea ‘Flowermaster Blue’ is a great variety for including in mixed plantings, planting around larger trees, or growing as an informal hedge. It also makes for a lovely backdrop for smaller plants, using to contrast with other leaf forms and flower colours, or including in cottage gardens.
