Tui Song Hibiscus

The Tui Song Hibiscus is grown for its large and showy, single flowers. The flowers are a soft pink colour and appear through summer and autumn on upright, slender branches. The foliage on this shrub comprises glossy green leaves and it typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Best performance with this plant is achieved when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as moderate frost once established. In cool climates it may become deciduous or partially deciduous during winter. The Tui Song Hibiscus is commonly grown as a showy specimen, used as an informal hedge, planted for screening, included in a mixed planting, added to a tropical garden, or planted around outdoor living areas.
