“Tui Song” is a variety of Hibiscus grown for its large and showy, single flowers. The flowers are a soft pink colour and appear through summer and autumn on upright, slender branches. The foliage on this shrub comprises glossy green leaves and it typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Best performance with this plant is achieved when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost. “Tui Song” is commonly used as a showy specimen, for hedging or screening, in mixed plantings, grown in a container, included in a tropical garden, or planted around the barbecue area.
