They are held on upright, slender branches through summer and autumn. The foliage comprises bright green leaves held on a plant that typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide. This variety performs best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as moderate frost. In cool climates it may become deciduous or partially deciduous during winter.
