Hibiscus 'Blushing Bride'

How to grow Hibiscus 'Blushing Bride' in NZ

Hibiscus 'Blushing Bride' grows best in full sun with shelter from strong winds and heavy frost. In New Zealand it performs particularly well in warmer and coastal regions, though it can be grown in cooler areas with winter protection. Plant in well drained soil enriched with organic matter to encourage healthy establishment. Water regularly during dry periods, especially in summer, to support vigorous growth and abundant flowering.

Hibiscus 'Blushing Bride' care tips

Hibiscus 'Blushing Bride' benefits from regular feeding during spring and summer with a fertiliser suited to flowering shrubs. This encourages strong growth and repeat blooming. Lightly prune in early spring to shape the plant and remove any damaged or weak stems. Remove spent flowers to maintain a tidy appearance and promote further blooms. Reduce watering in winter and protect plants in colder NZ regions from frost damage.
