Hibiscus Snow Queen is grown for its variegated foliage and pretty flowers. The ruffled flowers are bright red, and produced through summer and autumn off upright, slender branches. The green and cream variegated foliage provides a pleasant back drop and additional interest to this plant. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as moderate frost once established. In cool climates it may become deciduous or partially deciduous during winter.
