The Ruby Tuesday Hibiscus is grown for its large and showy flowers. These are an impressive shade of pink with a purple centre and provide an outstanding display. They appear through summer and autumn on upright, slender branches which also hosts glossy green leaves. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as moderate frost once established. In cool climates it may become deciduous or partially deciduous during winter.
