Paeonyflorus Hibiscus

The Paeonyflorus Hibiscus is grown for its large and showy, double flowers. The stunning flowers are light pink with a dark pink centre and borne through summer and autumn on upright, slender branches. The glossy green foliage serves as a wonderful backdrop to the flowers as it grows to 2 m tall and the same wide. It performs best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as only very light frost once established. In cool climates it may become partially deciduous during winter. The Paeonyflorus Hibiscus is commonly grown as a showy specimen, used as an informal hedge, planted for screening, included in a mixed planting, added to a tropical garden, or planted around outdoor living areas.
