The Harry Boris Hibiscus is grown for its showy flowers which are burnt orange with pink tones towards the centre. They are borne through summer and autumn off upright, slender stems that also host glossy green leaves. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as light frost only once established.
