“Harry Boris” is a variety of Hibiscus grown for its showy, single flower which are dark orange with pink tones towards the centre. They are borne through summer and autumn on upright, slender branches. The foliage on this shrub comprises glossy green leaves and it typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Best performance with this plant is achieved when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost. “Harry Boris” is commonly used as a showy specimen, for hedging or screening, in mixed plantings, grown in a container, added to a tropical garden, or planted around the barbecue area.
