Dr Katzuki Hibiscus

The Dr Katzuki Hibiscus is grown for its exquisite flowers. The flowers are deep orange with a cherry red centre, and have a papery appearance. These are produced through summer and autumn off upright, slender branches which also host glossy, green leaves. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as moderate frost once established. In cool climates it may become deciduous or partially deciduous during winter.
