Hibiscus Cherry Cheesecake is a popular variety due to its very showy and colourful flowers. The flowers are white with raspberry-coloured veins and a dark red centre. They have a papery appearance and are produced through summer and autumn off upright, slender branches which also host glossy, green leaves. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as moderate frost once established. In cool climates it may become deciduous or partially deciduous during winter.
