This evergreen typically grows to 60 cm high and 1 m wide bearing spear-shaped, mid-green, glossy foliage. The foliage is complemented with showy spikes of white-mauve flowers from summer through autumn. It also suits being mass planted on bank or as a groundcover and in both instances affords a lovely display.
