Hebe macrantha grows as a compact, rounded shrub to about 60 cm tall and the same wide with leaves that are densely clustered around the stem. Showy, white flowers are borne at the ends of branches in summer. Hebe macrantha is an ideal plant for mixed and border plantings, maintaining in a container, or planting around larger trees. A mass planting on a bank looks very effective.
