Hebe ‘Elizabeth’ is an exquisite variety of Hebe due to its impressive foliage and flowers. Masses of showy, bright pink flower spikes are produced from summer through autumn. These are complemented with glossy, mid-green foliage. This evergreen shrub grows compactly to about 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, moderate wind, dry periods, and coastal conditions. Hebe ‘Elizabeth’ looks most effective when planted in clusters and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or added to a cottage garden. It is also well suited to being mass planted on a bank or the like.
