Haloragis erecta Wellington Bronze, commonly known as Shrubby Haloragis, is a NZ native shrub that features bronze-purple foliage. The colourful leaves are held densely off rigid stems, which also host spikes of green-yellow flowers in summer. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is a hardy plant and will tolerate wind, dry periods, moderate frost, and a range of soil conditions, barring the extremes of wet and dry. Haloragis Wellington Bronze is most suited to situations where contrast of form and foliage is valued.
