Grevillea rhyolitica Deua Flame, commonly known as Spider Flower, is a fast-growing shrub renowned for its striking flowers and great foliage. Showy clusters of coral red, spider-like flowers are borne through spring and summer. They are great for attracting nectar feeding birds, and complemented with fine, dark green leaves. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. This evergreen performs best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is frost hardy and tolerant of both dry periods and coastal environments. Grevillea Deua Flame is commonly included in mixed plantings, added to Mediterranean themed gardens, used for hedging, grown around pool and other living areas, or mass planted on a bank or the like for a magical display. It is also well suited to being maintained in a container or planted to brighten a dull spot in the garden.
