Grevillea Ellendale is a fast growing, dense shrub that is grown for its spikes of exquisite, pink flowers. These are held out from the fine, dark green foliage. The flowers are produced in spring through summer and are great for attracting nectar feeding birds. It typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods and coastal conditions and will cope with moderate frost. Grevillea Ellendale is commonly included in a mixed planting, trimmed into a hedge, for screening, added to coastal gardens, or planted to attract birds. It is also ideal for planting around pool and barbecue areas, growing as a specimen, or maintaining in a large container.
