Grevillea Cherry Ripe, commonly known as Spider Flower, is a colourful and compact shrub grown for its unusual flowers and lovely form. The spider-like, pink flowers are produced from spring through autumn, and are great for attracting nectar feeding birds. The showy flowers are nestled amidst the fine, dark green foliage. It grows with a somewhat open habit to about 70 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is frost hardy and tolerant of both dry periods and coastal environments. Grevillea Cherry Ripe is commonly included in mixed and border plantings, used in cottage and Mediterranean gardens, grown around pool and other living areas, or mass planted as a groundcover on a bank or the like.
