The waxy, red and yellow flowers are produced from spring through autumn and are great for attracting nectar feeding birds. The flowers are nestled amidst the olive-green foliage. It grows with a somewhat open habit to about 60 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site.
