Gardenia augusta 'Professor Pucci' Details

Gardenia augusta ‘Professor Pucci’ is a beautiful, evergreen shrub that produces the most amazing flowers. This popular plant bears exquisite, intensely fragrant, double, white blooms from spring through autumn. The flowers contrast perfectly with the dark green, glossy foliage. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost only and requires shelter from wind. Gardenia ‘Professor Pucci’ puts on the best displays when mass planted but is also effective for planting around outdoor living areas, adding to a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, or for including in a ‘tropical’ or “white” garden. Gardenias are a favourite among gardeners for both their versatility and impressive aesthetics.
