Euryops pectinatus is a vigorous, evergreen shrub that grows to about 1 m tall and the same wide. It has grey-green, hairy leaves which complement the yellow, daisy-like flowers nicely. The flowers are borne continuously through summer and autumn. It grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered location, protected from frost. Euryops pectinatus is commonly included in mixed and border plantings, added to cottage and coastal gardens, maintained in a container, mass planted on a bank, or planted in clusters for a dramatic display. This is a widely used plant due to both its hardiness and prolonged flowering.
