Escallonia macrantha Hedge

An Escallonia Macrantha Hedge looks amazing when grown and managed correctly. Start by spacing the plants 40-50 cm apart. This is the optimum spacing for a dense hedge that will grow quickly. As the hedge start to grow opt for a little and often trimming regime. This helps to keep the plants bushy. The best Escallonia Macrantha hedge is achieved by trimming it in spring and again in autumn.
