Erica White Delight is a variety of Heather that produces masses of small, white flowers with a dark centre from autumn through spring. The showy flowers hang off the stems to become prominent over the foliage. The foliage on this evergreen comprises fine, dark green leaves and it typically grows to 1 m tall and 70 cm wide. Best performance with this shrub is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It will grow well in partial shade but flowering is likely to be less profuse. It is also tolerant of moderate frost, dry periods, coastal conditions, and some wind. Erica White Delight is commonly added to a mixed planting, included in cottage or “white” gardens, grown in a container, or mass planted for a stunning display. The stems are often used in floral arrangements.
