Erica Pink (aka Erica cerinthoides Pink), is a colourful, evergreen shrub grown for its flowers and foliage. It produces showy clusters of small, bright pink flowers in spring which hang off the stems to become prominent over the foliage. This foliage comprises fine, dark green leaves held on upright stems. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 70 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. In partial shade plants will tend to be more open. It is tolerant of moderate frost, dry periods, coastal conditions, and some wind. Erica Pink is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, or used in cottage gardens. The stems are commonly used in flower arrangements.
