Dichroa versicolor (Evergreen Hydrangea)

The Dichroa versicolor Evergreen Hydrangea is renowned for its flowers and foliage. It becomes covered in showy clusters of blue flowers through spring and summer. These emerge from distinctive, white-pink flower buds and ultimately result in blue berries from late summer. It has attractive, dark green foliage and typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide. Best performance with this shrub is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site, thought it will tolerate moderate frost and dry periods.
