Dichroa Blue Sapphire, commonly known as the Blue Evergreen Hydrangea, is an evergreen shrub renowned for both its flowers and foliage. It becomes covered in clusters of blue, star-shaped flowers during spring and summer. It has attractive dark green foliage year-round and typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Dichroa Blue Sapphire is commonly used in mixed plantings, grown as an informal hedge, included in cottage gardens, or planted around the base of larger trees.
