Dichroa febrifuga Blue Sapphire is a blue flowering, evergreen Hydrangea. It becomes covered in clusters of blue, star-shaped flowers during spring and summer. These emerge from distinctive, white-pink flower buds and ultimately result in blue berries in late summer. It has attractive dark green foliage year-round and typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Best performance is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is hardy to both cold and periods of dry.
