Deutzia Compact Pink Details

Deutzia Compact Pink is grown for its exquisite flowering. It grows with an upright, rounded habit and produces sprays of delicate, pink and white flowers through spring. These are held among the gently arching stems which support the deep green foliage. As autumn progresses the leaves develop red tones before falling. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide, growing best in a sunny position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is hardy to frost and cold climates but does require good moisture during dry periods. Deutzia Compact Pink is well suited to cottage gardens, container growing, adding to mixed plantings, or using as a backdrop for smaller plants.
