Crowea exalata Details

Crowea exalata is a variety of the commonly known, Wax Flower, and it aptly named for its distinctive, small, and waxy flowers. The pretty and showy, pink flowers are borne from spring through autumn amidst the fine and lush, dark green foliage. This evergreen shrub grows compactly to about 80 cm tall and 1.2 m wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in either full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of moderate frost and dry periods once established. Crowea exalata is ideal for growing in a container, including in a border or mixed planting, planting around outdoor living areas, adding to cottage gardens, or for mass planting on a bank or the like.
