Correa Jetty Red is a vigorous and fast-growing, ground covering plant. The foliage is made up of branchlets which carry small, dark green leaves held densely. This becomes adorned with red flowers in autumn tipped with yellow which hang gracefully across the plant. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 80 cm wide, and performs best when positioned in full-sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It tolerates dry periods, moderate frost, and coastal environments, but is intolerant of heavy, wet soils. Correa Jetty Red is commonly used as a groundcover, included in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container. It is well suited to mass planting on a bank or the like.
