Corokia Silver Ghost is a hardy, NZ native shrub that grows as a mass of wiry, tangled, silver-grey branches carrying small, brown-green leaves. Small, star like, yellow flowers, which are mildly fragrant, are produced in summer. These are followed by small red-orange berries as it grows to 1.2 m tall and 1 m wide. Corokia Silver Ghost is commonly trimmed into a hedge but also makes a great addition to a mixed planting. It is also well suited for growing on those difficult to grow sites.
