Cordyline Kirkii is a unique, dwarf Cabbage Tree. It has strap like, mid-green leaves which are held on a short, central trunk. This NZ native typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, moderate wind, and cool climates. This Cabbage Tree makes a lovely specimen and is commonly planted in clusters. It is often maintained in a container, included in mixed plantings, used to line a driveway or border an entrance, or planted to soften a bland wall.
