Cordyline Jade Fountain is a smaller variety of the commonly known, Cabbage Tree, and features long, sword like, lime green leaves held on a small tree. It grows with multiple, short stems which host the lush foliage. This NZ native typically grow 2.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, moderate wind, and cool climates. Cordyline Jade Fountain makes for a lovely specimen and is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, or planted against a bland wall. The architectural form and attractive foliage makes this plant the perfect choice for the modern garden.
