Cordyline 'Design-a-Line Burgundy' is an ornamental variety of Cabbage Tree that features burgundy coloured, arching foliage. It grows as a mound to about 80 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site. Cordyline 'Design-a-Line Burgundy' makes a lovely inclusion in a mixed planting. It is commonly maintained in a container, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like, used to border an entrance, or mass planted on a bank.

Cordyline 'Design a Line Burgundy' thrives in well-drained, fertile soil and grows best in full sun to partial shade. It suits New Zealand's temperate climate and benefits from a sheltered position to protect its long burgundy foliage from wind damage.
